The Anita Mellow team won the A side of the LCA Stanley Gauthier competition during the January 19th weekend at the Navy CC. The team represents the RCN Navy CC and includes: Skip: Anita Mellow, Vice: Shelly Whitney, 2nd: Stephanie McClennan, and Lead: Mary Chamberlain.

Lady Tweedsmuir
The Lady Tweedsmuir Championship game was held at the Ottawa Hunt Club on Saturday, February 16 2013 at 1:00 p.m. The winners from District 1, Lachine CC Evening Ladies, played against the winners from District 2, Richmond Curling Club. The game was very exciting and close. After the game we had a lovely dinner put on by the Ottawa Hunt Club and their amazing chef. I'd like to thank all of those people at Ottawa Hunt Club who made this a special day for the participants and their guests and fans.

District 2 Winners of the McCallum Filly are from Navy Curling Club:

District 2 Winners of the Hamilton Shield are from City View: Susan Sager, Cathy Pilon, Jane Evernden and Heather Doyle. Runner up was Lisa Tapper's team from the Granite Curling Club.

The Championship was held at the Morrisburg Curling Club, Saturday, March 2, 2013.The winners of the LCA Hamilton Shield were City View's Cathy Pilon, Jane Everden, Karen Dudka, and Audrey Fitzpatrick.The Winners of the LCA McCallum Filly were Metcalfe's team of Lorna Johnston, Martine Cheff-Godmaire, Julia Suyt and Terri Enns.

Evening Ladies/Gillies-Wallingford Championships

Composed of Business Girls and Evening curlers only. Open entry. Composite rinks allowed. 2 games guaranteed at District Level. Playdowns – 8 ends. District and championship Finals – 10 ends

District Finals were held at the Buckingham Curling Club, Sunday, March 10, 2013, 9:30 a.m. and 12:30 p.m.
Championship will be held at the Hudson Whitlock Curling Club, Sunday, March 23, 2013, 1:00 p.m., Lunch 11:30 a.m.

Macdonald, Paterson, Roy -
MARCH 19 - 22, 2013

We had 36 entries from District 2. The teams consisted of 7 from RA, 5 from Carleton Heights, 3 from RC Navy, 5 from City View, 5 from RCMP, 9 from Granite and 2 from Navan.
The winners for the Macdonald were Granite skipped by Carol Tetreault. The runners up were City View skipped by Alice Walsh.
The winners for the Paterson were RA skipped by Karen Moon. Runners up were Navy skipped by Diana Popoff.
The winners for the Roy were RA skipped by Nancy Jordon / Joan Semeniuk . Runners up were RCMP skipped by Jean Lockett.
The opening day reception was held at RA and was very well attended this year. LCA received many favourable comments about the venue and the food.The final games were held at Navy on March 22nd. Their Day Ladies provided the winning teams and the runners up with a very tasty lunch.
Thank you to all of the clubs that provided ice and umpires for this event, namely, Carleton Heights, Navy, RA and Granite. Thank you to all of the LCA representatives that promoted this event in their clubs, organized teams and collected funds.
