Clubs may apply for loans up to $30,000 at a rate of Royal Bank prime minus 1%. The OVCA Board of Administrators is the manager of this fund. Approximately $1.2 million has been loaned under this program. Currently, nine of the 45 member clubs have loans in place - and since the initiation of the fund, all but six of the OVCA member clubs have utilized these loans.
The OVCA offers free web hosting services to its member clubs and centres. Many OVCA clubs have taken advantage of this service which is a great way to connect with your members and provide information to potential curlers.

The OVCA will provide financial support ($500) for OVCA clubs towards the development of adult Learn- to-Curl programs over the next two years, beginning with the 2014-15 season. In addition to the financial support, the OVCA in partnership with the Canadian Curling Association will offer a one-day Instructor Training in early September for clubs hosting Learn-to-Curl programs. Competition of the course is a prerequisite for the funding.
The Ottawa Valley Curling Association (OVCA) will provide sponsorship funds to OVCA member clubs hosting provincial final competitions and national competitions up to a maximum of $1,000 providing the competition is either the penultimate step (at a provincial level) to a national sanctioned CCA event or is the final step - a CCA national sanctioned event.
Limited funds are available to assist member clubs to purchase youth rocks (new or replacement).
The Ottawa Valley Curling Association supports the development of club coaching by offering a $50 rebate to OVCA club members who participate in the Ontario Curling Association’s Club Coach Course or Youth Coach Course and commits to coaching/teaching in their club for at least the current curling year.
The OVCA will assist OVCA-member club based youth travel teams with travel costs at a rate of $.20/km for OCA and OUA competitions, and with grants for those advancing to select national competitions
