Minutes and pictures from the Annual General Meeting held September 17 at the RA are now available here. The meeting involved 45 Club Presidents, Past Presidents, Honorary Life Members, Board Members, members of the Board of Administrators and guests. Greetings were brought to the meeting by the OCA, the LCA and the Branch. Reports were presented by the Youth and Development Directors, the chairpersons for the event committees (including an update on the Caledonia Cup negotiations), the Chairman of the Board of Adminstrators for the Development Fund and the Treasurer. As well, the President provided an overview of this past year's activities before turning the President's responsibilities over to Elaine Brimicombe.
Over dinner, a signficant discusson of how to attract new entrants to curling and to grow the sport was held. A summary can be found in the minutes. The OVCA Board will be following up on this discussion at the October Board meeting (which will include input from Danny Lamoureux, CCA  as well as a presentation by Martin Cavanagh on training needs).
