COST:$200 per 4 player team

Held at the Lakeview Outdoor Rink - 62A Horner Dr

The Lakeview Outdoor Rink Association and Kinaxis are hosting an outdoor curling bonspiel to raise funds for the Ottawa Senators Foundation in support of SENS Rinks and Roger Neilson House.

It’s a unique opportunity for you and your organization to enjoy one of Canada’s most popular sporting activities outdoors while at the same time raising funds for such an important cause. Games will last 4 ends or 45 minutes, whichever comes first and each team is guaranteed three games. The use of lighter junior stones combined with modified sheet dimensions and unpredictable ice conditions makes it equally challenging for experienced curlers, beginners or corporate teams.
There will be a BBQ, draw prizes and other ongoing events throughout the day for participants and spectators to enjoy. A nearby heated tent and heated trailer will be available for participants/spectators to keep warm between games. The closing/award ceremony will be held at The Galley Restaurant and Bar at the Nepean Sailing Club.

Registration fees are $200.00 per 4 player team. Teams can have up to 2 additional spares registered on their team. An additional $25 will be added to your registration fee for each spare added. Space is limited to the first 16 teams registered. Teams will also have the opportunity to raise funds through direct donations. 100% of all registration fees will go directly towards the Ottawa Senators Foundation. Prizes will be awarded for exceeding various fundraising milestones! For further information and to register your team, go to www.sensfoundation.com/curling

Registration will open on December 1. Plan to reserve your spot while space is still available.
* Inclement weather will be called if the daytime weather forecast calls for either above zero temperatures, more than 5 cm of snowfall or a wind chill factor of -20C.
