Orphan Clinics

What is an Orphan Clinic? How do I sign up? The answers are right here!

The Orphan Clinic is a networking opportunity for U18(Bantam) and U21(Junior) curlers looking to join or form competitive teams and for U18 and U21 competitive teams to add or fill vacancies.

Teams with openings and individual curlers and coaches with competitive interest are all encouraged to attend with their curling equipment.

During the 2 hour session, the curlers will warm up on the ice with practice deliveries, and then will form ad-hoc teams to play a short 2 or 3 end game. This gives the curlers an opportunity to meet each other, and for the coaches to observe the general play.

This is followed by some time in the lobby for curlers to talk and exchange contact information.

The contact information is exchanged with those in attendance, and is also available from the OVCA after the event for those that could not attend.

Any that cannot attend are welcome to have their contact information added to the contact list by sending the required information to the contact person.

There is never an attendance limit, and there is no cost. Please show up early to register, or you may email your information prior to the event to speed up the registration process.

Please send along: curler's name, birthdate, contact name, contact phone number, contact email address, and home curling club.
