8-Enders

Congratulations! You've accomplished something special! Now, find out how to get recognized for it.

The 8-ender is the rarest feat in the game of curling.

If you're here, you've probably just achieved one - CONGRATULATIONS!

Curling Canada, through the provincial associations, will recognize your achievement with pins and a certificate.  Here's how to apply:

ONTARIO:  Download the form, and send the completed version to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.

QUEBEC:  The following is the information needed to obtain the 8-ender certificate. Please send the information to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.:

 

  • Photo of the event

  • Name and address of the curling club

  • Date of the event

  • During what kind of tournament it happened (championship, day league, etc…)

  • Complete name and position of each team member

  • A mailing address for the certificate delivery.

What if your club isn't a member of your provincial association?  The OVCA has you covered!  Send along the relevant information to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. and the OVCA will issue an 8-ender certificate (also, ask your club's board of directors why they aren't taking advantage of the benefits of provincial association membership!).
